You may have noticed our new A-board adorning the promenade of Piccadilly Arcade. The board itself was created by The Framers in the Custard Factory and signage done by local signwriter Atelier Zoot. A rare skill in these days, we thought we’d drop in and see how Zoot brought our logo to life.

We rounded up our staff for the first group training session of the year. Focusing on tea tasting, brew methods (including cupping and pour-over) and discussions about service, we like to see training as a session where we can experiment and open ourselves up to debate on customer feedback.
We followed that with our first staff outing to Pure, a new bar opened by ale brewery Purity. Delicious range of bitters on tap and a fantastic new addition to the neighbourhood. Thumbs up for the Ubu ale glazed pork pie too.
